The PuLi Hotel and Spa
Puli Hotel is the first luxury hotel in China to be positioned as a "urban paradise". Operated by Urban Resort Concepts (URC) hotel management company, she is also a member of the Leading Hotels Worldwide (LHW) in the United States.
The interior design of the Puli Hotel, which combines ancient Chinese elements with modern craftsmanship and technology, uses Shanghai gray bricks, which are commonly used on the exterior walls of buildings, as one of the interior decoration materials to create a special beauty and function of the building. The special floor tiles in the hotel lobby were provided by the same manufacturer of ground building materials for the Beijing Forbidden City renovation project and were carefully crafted for the hotel over a long period of time. This is another idea by designers to make good use of traditional building materials that are rarely used today as eternal examples of space. The dragon forest pattern wooden screens and cast copper washbasins that can be seen everywhere inside each room once again verify the designer's deliberate design ingenuity of interweaving ancient and modern with Chinese and Western elements.
