China Railway Chuntai Wang's Elderly Care Center
Regarding the living space for the elderly, in the initial design phase, we divided the five care zones into five color series based on the classification of the target group admitted by the institution and the physical health status of the elderly, giving different element themes. These include Qing Shans Yun Wu (refreshing blue), Wen Xing Zheng Yan (vibrant yellow), Cui Zhu Xian Ting (elegant green), Yi Shu Haidan (warm pink), and Ye Yue Gui Ke (serene purple), which correspond to the color themes of care zones such as disability, vitality, dementia, chronic diseases, and premium suites. We hope that this can not only serve as a clear zoning guide but also, by using more approachable colors and natural elements, weaken the cold feeling of the institution, shorten the distance between the elderly and the space, and enjoy a warm atmosphere like being at home.
